This story takes place in Los Angeles California in the year 1920. Newsboy Mark Lester, father of three, and widowed by his beloved wife Harriet, worries that with the low income of his current job, he would not be able to provide a decent collage education for his children. However, with much consideration, he comes up with the perfect idea, but how will his sister in law April, the younger sister of his deceased wife respond to his grand this idea?
